With over 500 flight hours and a continued goal of reaching 1,500 hours on his path to the airlines, he is steadily advancing in his aviation career. His journey reflects a deep passion for flight and a commitment to growth, discipline, and long-term success in aviation.

Ben
Ben began his aviation path driven by a passion for flight and community, earning his Private Pilot certificate through strong early support and mentorship. He is now in the final stages of his commercial training, having completed all flight minimums for his checkride.

Holly

Holly made the bold decision to leave a career in Human Resources to pursue her dream of becoming a pilot, beginning her aviation journey with determination and purpose. She quickly advanced through her training and recently passed her multi-engine rating, marking a major milestone in her progression. As the first female TRH Flying Foundation scholar, she continues to inspire others—especially women and career changers—to pursue aviation with confidence.

Kirsten N.

“Pilots seeking their instrument or commercial tickets as well as hi-performance and complex multi-engine aircraft endorsements generally have competing life demands, like school and/or jobs and/or family. Only a fortunate few have support structures to help pay for their training.”

Ray P.

“Many people are forced to abandon their dreams, or let time sweep past them. Your contribution can be that encouraging gesture that helps someone take the next step on a very long journey.”
